Week of May 4

We spent the first week of the quint learning about general properties of waves: wavelength, period, frequency, crests, troughs, longitudinal, and transverse.

Now we will look more specifically at sound as a wave. Today we started work on the Sound Stations Lab which has four parts: straws, strings, bottles, and Boomwhackers. We will continue to work on this activity this week. Here is a link to the document: here. We will only do parts 1-4 this time around.
