Hello Physics Students:
I am home sick today (Thur. May 7). So you won't be able to finish the Sound Stations Lab until next week. You do need to complete the following assignment according to these due dates:
Section A: Watch a video and respond to me by Sun. May 10 at 6 pm.
Section B: Watch a video and respond to me by Fri. May 8 at 5 pm.
Section D: Watch a video and respond to me by Fri. May 8 at 5 pm.
Assignment: Go to the website Sixty Symbols. Hover over the symbols to see the subject of a physics, math, or astronomy video. Choose any one (or more) to watch. Answer the following questions in an intelligent and detailed manner (demonstrating the intellectual level of a senior in high school, not an 8th grader) in an email to me (nwsphysics99@gmail.com), or in an attachement.
1. Give a summary (3-5 sentences) of the video. Include the name of the video and a screen capture or description of the symbol so I know which one you watched.
2. What did you find most interesting?
3. How well was the subject presented?
4. What would you do differently if you were going to make a similar video geared toward the general public?
One more note: there will be NO class on Friday, May 8 for Sections B and D.
