Mon./Tues. Sept. 15/16...Asteroids and Meteors!

Today students learned how to analyze videos in Logger Pro. If you need a refresher, the link to the video tutorial is on the Video tab. We broke into teams to take on the "Stop the Asteroid" project. Based on the asteroid that landed in Russia in Feb. 2013 (photos below) students are going to figure out how to plot the collision course between a constant motion vehicle and an accelerating object. They will be working on their own while I am at science conference in Albuquerque. The next HW assignment HW#3 is in the post below.
