Power

Thurs. Jan. 10 and Fri. Jan. 11--Single Period

Today we talked about power and how it is the RATE at which energy is converted from one form into another. You can think if it like velocity...the RATE at which position changes. Power is measured in Watts and the general equation is:

Power = Energy/time
Watt = Joule/second

Students then worked on Q3 HW#2 which involves finding the energy and power in different situations. This homework assignment is due on Mon. Jan. 14 for section A and C, and Tues. Jan. 15 for section B.
