Rocket Building Has Started!
Yes, it is "Rocket Science"! This is one of my favorite times of year as we start on the rocket project for Winterfest. Students used plastic soda bottles to construct a first draft for a rocket with little to no background information. They knew enough to add fins and a nose cone, but not really knowing why. After we launch the rockets, we will learn about the physics behind them and then start the re-design process. I can't believe I forgot to take any photos...I'll make up for it on launch day.
