Two things ended up on our agenda this week:
1. The recent announcement of the discovery of proof of gravity waves supporting the theory of the inflationary universe. Exciting stuff and we have been talking a bit about cosmology in class. Here is an excellent link to some explanations about how scientists know about the big bang:

2. Lab activity to learn how to use digital multimeters, explore the connection between electricity and magnetism, and begin to learn about motors and generators in advance of building wind turbines.
