Investigating Electrostatics

Wed. Feb. 27 and Thur. Feb. 28
Today students solved the following opener in class:

Find the size and direction of the electrostatic force on the proton that is 25 cm away from three electrons.
















We then discussed how a charged object can attract something that is neutral. We then worked on the "Investigating Electrostatics" activity. You can find it on the Documents Tab.

If you have been in El Salvador, or are having difficulty understanding some of the reasoning problems we have done you can look at the videos page and find the "Charge Opener" which shows how to go through one type of problem.
