Today students learned how to resolve vectors into components to make it easier to combine them. The goal here is to be able to apply Newton's 2nd Law (Fnet = ma) to physical situations and predict the motion of an object based on the net force. Students had the option to watch a short (6 min) video that was an overview of trigonometry or listen to me explain it on the board in more detail. This was a new way for students to work at their own pace and I hope to do more of it in the future. I welcome feedback about this teaching method. The video students watched is on the Video Tab...Vector Components.
Students are working on a set of problems called, Newton's 1st and 2nd Problems which can be found on the Documents Tab.
