Today we continued to work on drawing FBDs...Free Body Diagrams. After looking at 4 situations with the hover disk we came to the following conclusions...
1. If the all the forces acting on an object are balanced then it moves at constant velocity (which could be zero).
2. If all the forces acting on object are NOT balanced, then the object does NOT move with constant velocity and either speeds up or slows down.
Too bad Isaac Newton discovered these first or we could have named them ourselves!
