Logger Pro and Quiz Review

Wed. Sept. 26 Double Period and Thurs. Sept. 27 Double Period

Today we learned Integral Calculus! The concept is to understand that the area under a velocity-time graph gives the displacement (change in position) of an object. This is useful information! We also practiced drawing a position-time graph when only given a velocity-time graph. We are coming to the end of the Constant Velocity Model unit and it's time to check in with students to see how they are understanding this material. The way I check in is through a quiz. There are both practice problems and a sample quiz (with solutions) on the Documents Tab. I am hoping that you all can demonstrate knowledge of the CVM objectives (also on Documents Tab) which will be a foundation for accelerated motion.

During the second period we learned how to use Logger Pro to graph data. Here is a brief set of instructions for putting Logger Pro on a home computer but you will have to get the password from me (Cecilia) to gain access.

Here are links to download the software you requested from Vernier Software & Technology. After the file has downloaded to your computer, double-click the file, and enter the password (ask Cecilia) to install the software.
